From Geoff...

"As a father and grandfather, I feel, more and more, the need to leave a positive and beneficial legacy for my children and grandchildren. My expression of this need has always been through community involvement and through my work improving and maintaining the local environment.

"I have always enjoyed managing projects and people to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. In my youth, working in amateur theatre, I gained an immense satisfaction from the processes of creation and a strong sense of what could be achieved with a little imagination. My later work in the development of the Altona Theatre complex introduced many people of all ages to the performing arts and contributed a modern venue to the City of Hobsons Bay.

"My energies are now very much focused on the environment, and I am beginning to see the rewarding results of many years of hard work; where there once was a desolate and barren drain there is now a beautiful, living waterway. As would a good investment, I feel sure that this legacy will continue to increase in value over the years to the benefit of local flora and fauna, my family and the entire community."
