Fifty FOLKC members and friends gathered at Hosken Reserve on Sunday to celebrate with Hon Tim Watts MP the funding of the last section of the Kororoit Creek Shared Trail. 

Thanks to Tim's advocacy, $5m was received from a Federal Government Fund, to partner with Hobsons Bay Council, to complete Stages 4 & 5 of the Trail.

Once this section is complete, all Hobsons Bay residents will have direct access to the City and the entire shared trail network.

Brooklyn and Altona North reidents will have this access when the West Gate Tunnel Project is complete at the end of this year with the remaider of Hobsons Bay disappointingly isolated until the Council completes stages 4 & 5 of the trail, probably late 2028 or 2029.
